About Accessibility Web Group

AWG is just getting started. We’ve been doing accessibility assessment, testing, development and strategy work in enterprise-level companies for many years. Now, we want to take our cultural strange strategy to the larger community.

We live and work in and around Chicago, Illinois, otherwise known as “Chicagoland.” We frankly prefer to work remotely as we still maintain our working relationships with our larger enterprises, but we’re excited to provide our services when there’s a fit between our work style and the needs our client.

The heart of our philosophy is cultural change. We believe that accessibility is achieved in any endeavor by making sure the people involved know how to build accessible content, web sites, graphics and whatever else is needed for their customers and their services. But that is just the start. We strongly believe that any endeavor that wants to be accessible must evolve their process and philosophy to get consistent, accessible results that customers, clients, students, parents will understand and use whatever their abilities.
